      Awesome job my man!

Great job Stewart. This is actionable stuff for those that take action. Keep it going.

I had to change my report completely, the iReport mods did not like the marketing angle on my piece, so I went back to the drawing board and wrote something completely different. So far, no flags.

Learn from my mistake. Read their terms a couple of times and think “story”.

    Here’s my story:

      Hi Stewart,

Thanks a bunch for sharing that….

… by chance can you share the original (which they DIDNT) like just to see the differences?

      That would be awesome

      Thanks,
      Jesse

Thank you so much for this podcast and especially the ireport hack. I reported on our local Kalamazoo Wheelchair Tennis Tournament, and someone called us to tell us it had been televised. It was a thrilling moment when the KWTA director announced to the athletes that the tournament was mentioned on CNN. Not shabby for my first report. My husband is still scratching his head. Bless you Jack and Brian.

      WOW!!!!

      That is AMAZING Deb!

You knocked it out of the park for them. Great job and congrats on bringing attention to such a special cause.

    • Jack Mize

That’s fantastic. Thanks for letting us know. We love to see folks using this stuff. It flat out works.

  • BN

On the press release it says “The Wall Street Journal news department was not involved in the creation of this content. “. So when you say it was “published” on WSJ that’s a verry iffy line – you guys feel comfortable with this?

    • Jack Mize

Hi BN, I don’t think it’s “iffy” at all. The release was “published” on the WSJ. It met the standards and guidelines required to be approved for publication on their site.

Most people don’t realize that a good percentage of content in any newspaper, online or print, is not generated from the news department of that organization.

They benefit from “syndicated” content. It’s not content that is forced on them. It’s content from sources that they have active agreements with and approve.

The articles that we publish are researched and written based on facts, so we feel very comfortable with it.

  • BN

Thanks for the clarity. And you are right – almost all the stuff you see in the media is manufactured.
